The majority of electrical energy used is lost as heat. After improvement, LED luminous efficiency may reach 50-200 lumens per watt, the light is monochromatic and has a narrow spectrum, which means that it can be sent directly without color visible light filtering.

2. Less power consumption

LED single tube power 0.03-0.06 watts, direct current drive, single tube driving voltage 1.S5-3.5 volts, current 15-18 mA, quick reaction time, high-frequency operation. Under identical lighting circumstances, the power consumption of an LED lamp is one-tenth that of an incandescent bulb and half that of a fluorescent lamp.

3. Long lifetime

LED lights and lanterns have a service life of up to 10-20 years, which significantly reduces lamp and lantern maintenance costs and eliminates the inconvenience of frequent lamp and lantern replacement.

4. Strong safety and reliability

LED lights and lanterns generate little heat, emit no heat, provide a cool light source, and are touch-safe.

5. Environmental protection

When discussing heat sinks, it is vital to discuss their shortcomings and potential solutions for dissipating the heat generated by LED street lights. Just like humans need a sweating system during the hot summer months, they require a fan to cool off. LED street lights operate outside for an extended period of time, and since the outdoor temperature difference is rather considerable, a good heat dissipation system is required. If heat dissipation is not properly addressed, especially for high-power LED street lights, light degradation will be significant and life duration cannot be assured.

To ensure the safety and convenience of road users, road lighting is installed in a dense pattern along the road alignment to enhance visual guidance. Visual guidance is particularly critical at some bends and junctions.
