Series D high bay lamp in Nestle coffee warehouse lighting in Hungary

Nestle Coffee Warehouse Lighting Project in Hungary in 2010. More than 500pcs 60W D Series LED high bay lamps were used in this project. These warehouse lights could be easy to install by a bracket mounted. The housing design perfectly matches the style of the warehouse. 120-degree beam angle makes the light shine larger area and more evenly in the lighting area. This project was finished in 2010. The warranty we offered to this high bay light is 5 years. But we didn’t receive any feedback about broken lamps in this project during the past 12 years. This high bay lighting solution helps our clients save both cost and energy.

A high bay light is often characterized as a fixture designed for use in a ceiling that is between 20 and 40 feet above the floor. Generally, industrial and certain commercial areas include a high bay ceiling.

High Bay / Low Bay is a lighting phrase that refers to the kind of bay lights that are required for a certain ceiling height. High Bay Lights are often used in big areas with a ceiling height higher than 20 feet. Low Bay Fixtures, on the other hand, are often employed in big rooms with a ceiling height of between 12 and 20 feet.

Depending on the application requirements, high bay lights can be hung or mounted in a variety of ways. Suspending the fixtures from the ceiling by a cable, chain, or other mechanism is the most popular and easiest installation option. A v-hook or pendant hook is usually linked to the backside of the fixture, to which the chain or cable is connected.
Direct mounting, which can be done with either a surface mount or a yoke mount, is another popular method. Surface mounting has the smallest profile and is popular for level ceilings that do not require the fixture to be adjusted in any way. Yoke mounting is similar to yoke mounting, however it allows for adjustments for angled ceilings.

Typical high bay LED light fixtures have three, five, or even seven wires coming out of the fixture housing. Two wires, black and white, are used for power, while green is used for ground. 0-10v dimming is available on high bay lights with 5 wires. High bay lights with seven wires are designed to work with 12 volt controllers. The cables are labeled in most cases so you know which ones are for 0-10v dimming and which ones are for 12v controls. Usually LED high bay lamps with 5 or 7 wires need to be equipped with dimmable drivers. Sometimes high bay lights would also work together with sensors or smart control systems to achieve more smart functions.
