Spectrum(light distribution)
ZGSM lamps have different light distributions to choose from. Taking Rifle street lamps as an example, we have Type IIM, Type IIIM, Type IIS, Type IIIS and other light distributions. They can be applied to different road conditions(road width, pole spacing and height). They can ensure that the light is as uniform and as much as possible on the road, while reducing the light from unnecessary areas (such as residential areas and lawn, etc.). The most important and basic thing is that the BUG rating of ZGSM lamps is Bx-U0-Gx, which proves that these lamps do not irradiate upwards.
Lighting simulation
ZGSM provides free lighting simulation for all customers. The benefits of lighting simulation are two points: 1. You can know how many lamps you need and how these lamps should be distributed to achieve the required lighting results. 2. You can know the ULR of using these lamps. And to get a better lighting result (good uniformity and less spill lights), these lamps are better with asymmetric distributions.
CCT for selection
According to Darksky’s requirements, the color temperature of the lamp must be lower than 3000K, 2700K, 2200K, 1800K. ZGSM’s lamps support different color temperatures, including conventional 4000K, 5000K, 5700K and also warm color temperatures (<3000K) that meet Darksky’s requirements. But we need to remember that when the color temperature is lower than 3000K, the light efficiency of the lamp will also begin to decrease. Dimming
Darksky recommends using controls such as timers or motion detectors to ensure that light is available when needed, dimmed when possible, and turned off when not needed. ZGSM’s lamps can achieve these functions. For example, by installing photocells on street lamps, we can turn on the lamps when it is dark and turn them off when it is daytime; by installing microwave sensors on street lamps, the lamps can turn off/dim when people leave and turn on when people come; by installing power supplies that support AstroDIM on street lamps (such as Inventronics, Osram, Philips), we can achieve lamps that illuminate the streets with different light outputs at different times of the night, for example, lamps illuminate the road with 50% light output from 22:00 to 5:00 to reduce unnecessary energy waste.
